Alie James – It’s So Me Tv Host

As we get older and begin to age, it seems that beauty becomes illusive, and it’s hard to see (or feel) it surrounding us.

Sometimes, it’s nice to have a friend remind us that it’s there; I really hope you’ll allow me to become that kind of friend to you. As you get to know me through this Video Blog, I want you to feel comfortable enough to become a part of it  - that way, I’ll get to know you, too. You can do this with your your comments, and these will energize the conversations and help all of us explore new ways to live our best life.          

A few years ago, I began to build the Alie James brand online. However, even though I’ve been around awhile, I’m still asked the same question – "Who is Alie James?"  And not only do my online visitors ask this, I’m also asked the same thing from my offline friends every time I give them my business card. 

My answer to you, and to my friends is this:  Alie James is simply the name I use for my business, and the name I use as author of my books. Since I think this is a fair question, I decided to give a friend of mine, Krystal,  the chance to ask me questions she thought you’d be asking me yourself.   This conversation turned into about 15 videos, and they’re featured in the So Me Video Series.

I want to make the name, Alie James, more than just a name. I want to try and give "her" a voice that represents all of us, especially those of us who are Baby Boomers – unfortunately, we’re "beginning to show our age" and need "a little help from our friends".  Hopefully, Alie’s voice will help all of us see a little more clearly, thus helping us design and redesign the life we want to live.  

I think of Alie James as a Connector - she connects us to each other; and more importantly, she tries to show us how to connect to our truest self – the deepest part of our Mind, Body, Soul and Spirit that’s sometimes so hard to reach.

Alie James also tries to show us that we share many of the same hopes and dreams … We all want to be Happy, Healthy, Beautiful, and Sexy - especially as we women get older and find out it’s not quite as easy as it used to be!

Alie James also represents a new approach to Home and Garden Design and Decoration.  We know that it’s important to make our Home and Garden as comfortable and beautiful as we possibly can.  Wouldn’t you agree that Home is the main place (or possibly the only place) where we can find refuge?  For me, it’s the one place I’m sure of that will give me comfort and safety. Home is the place we get to go to and reflect about who we are as individuals, because there, we’re free to express the artistry and beauty that resides within our deepest self.
